Pamela I. Emmanuel

Pamela I. Emmanuel is a global economic strategist and Founder of Nation BuildHer, advancing women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship, trade, and scalable systems.

With over 15 years of experience across finance, international business, and creative industries, she designs and implements frameworks that position women as builders of enterprises, industries, and economies.

Her work spans North America, Africa, Europe, and emerging markets—mobilizing capital, developing enterprises, and equipping women to operate as economic architects in a rapidly evolving global economy.

Emmanuel is known for pioneering integrated economic development frameworks that bridge creativity, enterprise, and global trade—models that have since informed and influenced approaches across women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship ecosystems globally.

Foundation: Finance, Business & Global Strategy

Emmanuel began her career in banking at JPMorgan Chase, where she developed a strong foundation in financial systems, wealth management, and enterprise operations. She further expanded her expertise working alongside a retired insurance multimillionaire, gaining direct exposure to high-level financial strategy and business structuring.

She received acceptance into London College of Fashion (Business Management) while simultaneously pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences in International Business at University of Houston—reflecting an early commitment to integrating business strategy with creative industries.

Creative Industry Leadership & Global Influence

Emmanuel transitioned into the luxury fashion industry, where she became an award-winning Hollywood designer and founder of her haute couture bridal atelier. Her work has been featured in leading global publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and Forbes.

Her career opened doors to collaborate with royal families and internationally recognized figures such as Beyoncé, Toni Braxton, Matthew McConaughey, and Céline Dion.

Through this work, she developed a unique intersection of fashion, finance, and international commerce—leveraging creative enterprise as a vehicle for economic development.

International Trade & Economic Development

By merging fashion with finance, Emmanuel expanded into international trade and development—using the manufacturing and textile sectors as pathways for economic empowerment and poverty reduction.

Her work led to recognition by USAID and the EMPOWER Government–Private Sector initiative, where she was selected as a United States International Trade Representative and panelist among global apparel-sector leaders.

She has since built and implemented initiatives across North America, Africa, Europe, and emerging markets—bridging entrepreneurship, industry, and trade.

Global Impact & Implementation

Emmanuel is the initiator of the African Women Fashionpreneurs Program, a multinational initiative implemented in partnership with nonprofits and NGOs. The program raised over $100,000 to economically empower 50–100 women entrepreneurs in Lagos, Nigeria, building sustainable, women-led businesses within the manufacturing and textile sectors.

In 2024, she was selected by the Commission on the Status of Women to organize and lead an official United Nations CSW68 Parallel Event—convening global leaders, investors, policymakers, and delegates to advance dialogue on women’s economic power, leadership, and development.
